Ferrograph is a world leading public information display brand specialising in displays and kiosk hardware for airports, bus stops and railways.
Ferrograph approached us to work with them to provide the software implementation for web-based kiosks that would enable the display of real-time travel information at train stations on the East Coast line.
We worked with Ferrograph to create a Rich Internet Application that provided kiosk functionality using web-standards. We built a custom content management system specialised for kiosks and an interface framework specialised for kiosks.
We integrated our kiosk-based Journey Planner with real-time travel information provided by Thales/National Rail and created a great user experience for people planning journeys using the touchscreen system.
